Peach Galette

Peach season is just around the corner, and this peach galette is one of our Camp Grow favorites. It’s simple to make, incredibly delicious, and works beautifully with either fresh or frozen peaches—so you can enjoy it any time of year. If you give it a try, we’d love to hear what you think!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3-4 large peaches
  • ⅓ cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp of butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 tbsp of flour
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Puff pastry

INSTRUCTIONS: 

  1. Cut the peaches into thin slices
  2. Add in your sugar, flour, butter, vanilla extract, and salt
  3. Toss the mixture and set aside
  4. Flour your surface and rolling pin
  5. Roll out your puff pastry to about ½ inch thick
  6. Place the dough on a baking sheet
  7. Pour the filling on the dough
  8. Fold in the edges of the dough
  9. Whisk an egg and brush it on the folded edges of the galette
  10. Bake at 400º F for 25-30 minutes
