Jones Valley Teaching Farm encourages academic exploration and achievement through food, farming, and the culinary arts.
Good School Food, our primary program, is a hands-on, food-based education model. Each year, more than 4,500 pre-K–12 students engage in the program during, after, and beyond the school day. We make learning come alive, using food as our primary teaching tool.
We design and build vibrant outdoor learning spaces called Teaching Farms on school campuses. Click here to see our seven sites and school partners.
Research shows that our Good School Food program cultivates responsibility, builds strong relationships with peers, and creates opportunities for students to develop life skills such as leadership, confidence, and teamwork.
