Field trips at JVTF’s Center for Food Education are wrapped around our flagship program, Good School Food. Every Good School Food lesson and field trip aligns with the Alabama Course of Study. This hands-on education model connects students to food, farming, and the culinary arts through standards-based, cross-curricular lessons during the school day.
Camp Grow is an educational and interactive learning opportunity for students who are curious about food, farming and the culinary arts. Campers will explore the natural world through inquiry, experimentation, and hands-on activities.
We offer a number of different consultation packages and training sessions for organizations or school districts, who are looking to dig deeper into our programming to create or expand opportunities for their own students. For pricing and additional information, please reach out to info@jvtf.org.
