Last week, 17 students from Oliver Elementary spent five full days at the farm for Project-Based Learning Week. These students began the week with a problem to solve: design a healthy food truck to serve the needs of their community. Students created menus, made budgets of their trucks, learned about food access, and built scale-models trucks, all while learning core subjects through the week.
Take a look at some of the moments from the students’ PBL Week! Thanks to Ms. Fields’s class for a great week of learning.
Mac from Shindigs visited the students to talk about his experience starting a food truck!
